Enrique Alonso Daussá

Enrique Alonso Daussá (Daussat) was born in Pinar del Rio but today resides in Havana. He graduated from the Provincial School of Art and dedicated the subsequent twenty years of his life to teaching as an art instructor in Pinar del Rio and Havana. His work spans many mediums — drawing, painting, ceramics, engraving, papier-mâché, goldsmithing, digital photography, installations, and more. Today his work is exhibited and sold throughout Havana and he has participated in various international events and workshops, most notably at the Center of Modern Art of Saint Pere de Vila Mayor in Barcelona. He is also a poet.
